We're super excited to introduce our HIGHLY requested custom path feature! This update allows you to host your blog on a path on your site, giving you more control over your online presence and improving your SEO efforts.
Custom path / Folder
Previously, your blog posts were available at a subdomain on our site like -
yourBlog.buildfastblog.com, and you could chose to host on your subdomain blog.yoursite.com or main domain yoursite.com. But now, with custom paths, you can tailor your URL structure to match your brand or content strategy. We currently support two paths right now:
- yoursite.com/blog
- yoursite.com/resources
Custom Path Setup
This level of customization not only makes your URLs more memorable and on-brand but also helps search engines better understand the structure of your site. To set up a custom path, simply head to your blog settings, and go into
Domains and look for the new "Custom Path" option. Enter your domain and choose your desired path, and we’ll personally guide you through the process(it can be hands-on)!
